A Conservation Warden Career Expo held in Milwaukee has earned a state Program Achievement Award for diversity for the Bureau of Law Enforcement’s Warden Recruitment Committee as well as the entire Department of Natural Resources. The award, the DNR’s second in as many years, was presented October 29 at the State Council on Affirmative Action’s Annual Diversity Awards Ceremony in the Senate Parlor at the State Capitol. The DNR was honored for its diversity efforts in the Tribal Internship Program. The award is presented to the DNR through the Department of Administration.
“I want to thank the law enforcement bureau for their efforts to promote diversity and especially (Assistant Training Director) Jeff King for his work composing the nomination materials for the
Career Expo,” DNR Diversity Specialist Regina Kammes said.
