Ron Jendro has been selected as the new Assistant Chief of Enforcement for Montana FWP. Ron started with Fish, Wildlife & Parks in 1988 working at a check station in Havre. He worked his way up the ranks and became a game warden in 1993 in Troy and later transferred to the Bitterroot in 1995. He has been with the Enforcement division for the last twelve years as the Boating Law Administrator.

Wisconsin Wardens Host Arkansas Warden Campora's Family at Annual COPS Camp
The July 28 – August 1 COPS National Camp for Survivors of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty was the first for Bethany, 6, and the second for her mom, who came to the Wisconsin camp last year with her older daughter. While the Camporas came as survivors, the organization of C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors) was a big part of their family life well before Rebecca’s husband -- and Bethany’s dad -- was killed. Arkansas State Game and Fish Wildlife Officer Joel Campora drowned while trying to save others in a flood on May 31, 2013 – about 2 months shy of his 33rd birthday. So the Camporas came to Wisconsin for the C.O.P.S. Camp for Kids and the kid with the high bouncy blonde ponytail donned her "I Love Game Wardens" shirt and sought out every Wisconsin DNR warden she could find. Read more:
