Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission Announces New Law Enforcement Director
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) announced they have selected a new law enforcement director, Col. Curtis Brown. Col. Brown is the third graduate of the 2014 NACLEC Law Enforcement Leadership Academy to be promoted to Chief or Colonel in 2014.

Utility Company in Wyoming Sentenced for Killing Protected Birds at Wind Projects
The charges stem from the discovery of the carcasses of 38 golden eagles and 336 other protected birds, including hawks, blackbirds, larks, wrens and sparrows by the company at its “Seven Mile Hill” and “Glenrock/Rolling Hills” wind projects in Carbon and Converse Counties between 2009 and the present.
